Day 1 : AGADIR > ESSAOUIRA > MARRAKECH
Your day trip to Essaouira will begin by Leaving Agadir behind in the early morning after your breakfast we follow the coast north to beautiful Essaouira. On your way, you will cross the forest of argan trees, where you can see goats climbing trees and to see how argan is extracted, you can visit a local women’s cooperative and understand how some natural cosmetics are made locally from the virtuous argan seed. Afterward, we will continue to Essaouira. Also known as Mogador it has elements of many influences over the centuries, from Romans to Portuguese, French & Dutch. The Medina of Essaouira was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage in Morocco in 2001. Once the main port of Morocco, it now mainly relies on fishing, tourism, and artisans. Walkthrough the unspoiled Medina to discover the craftsmen, wood-carvers & artists, and sample the tasty seafood in the harbour restaurants (lunch not included). Essaouira was also a thriving Jewish town and there are still Stars of David on the walls and the old synagogue has recently been renovated by his Majesty Mohamed VI.
We can enjoy a Cup of tea there before hitting the road toward Marrakech the red city to spend the night in a luxury Riad ((Irhalne) located near Jamaa Elfna to admire the beauty of Marrakech by Night.
Day 2 : MARRAKECH CITY TOUR
A very full and enthralling day to discover the UNESCO World Heritage status city of Marrakech. The visit to the city of Marrakech, or the red city, guarantees you a change of scenery and a distraction beyond your expectations. During your private excursion, you will have the opportunity to visit various monuments in the city at your own pace. Start at the picturesque Almohades Koutoubia Minaret, The most unmissable religious building in Marrakech. For tourists, the Koutoubia is often like a compass that helps you find your way around the city then we head toward and the newly refurbished Dar El Bacha Palace taking in the labyrinth of narrow alleyways making up the renowned Souks of Marrakech. Our guided visit continues to the Djemâa el Fna Square full of stalls selling goods from fruit to babouche. Here we see snake charmers & water sellers, fortune tellers & public scribes, tumblers & nakkachat (ladies doing henna tattooing) – soothsayers & gnaoua musicians, see how the square transforms at dusk into a huge outdoor street food market. The square is a symbol of the city and a space for popular traditional entertainment and it is listed as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Dinner and night in the Riad.
JOUR 3 : MARRAKECH > OUARZAZATE > ZAGORA
From Marrakech, enjoy the beautiful landscapes and impressive panoramic views from the High Atlas. You will pass through Berber villages and you will appreciate the panoramic views from the high Atlas mountains. You will cross the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass to reach the fortified village of Ait ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has been used in the filming of famous films including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. After Lunch departure for a visit to the Taourirt Kasbah and the Cinema Studio in Ouarzazate. before arriving at Zagora to spend the night in a Riad in the desert.
Day 4 : ZAGORA > MERZOUGA
After breakfast, you will take the road to Merzouga crossing the Anti Atlas mountains where you could meet local nomads. You will stop at Alnif oasis for lunch. Passing through the holy city of Rissani, you will arrive in Merzouga where you will meet your camel caravan for a ride in the desert to the Dunes of Erg Chebbi. In the evening you will attend the sunset, then, you will join your luxury camp nestled in the middle of the dunes for dinner and a night in the Sahara.
Day 5 : MERZOUGA > OUARZAZATE
Wake up early to watch the sunrise and enjoy the silence of the desert. After breakfast, meet your driver for the Tinghir Oasis and the Todra Gorge. You will discover the paths of the High Atlas and Berber villages and where you will enjoy an hour of stroll in one of the most beautiful palm groves of Morocco sheltering adobe villages and uninhabited kasbahs. You will stop at the majestic Canyons de Todra where you will have a Berber tagine for lunch. In the afternoon, you will continue to the Dades Gorges via the valley road and a thousand kasbahs. Enjoy the panoramic views while changing the Dades valley and the rose route. You will pass by Kalaa Mgouna, famous for planting Damascus roses, before reaching the Oasis of Skoura. arrive at Ouarzazate late the Afternoon for Dinner and overnight in 4**** Hotel or Riad.
Day 6 : OUARZAZATE > TAROUDANT > AGADIR
After breakfast, depart toward the Oasis of Tiout, renowned for its small villages of a narrow and charming palm grove that stretches along with the Oasis. we have lunch and continue your journey to Taroudant and follow your guide as you pass by the red-walled, 11th-century ramparts and five monumental gates. As you learn about the city’s intriguing history, meander through the maze of narrow streets that take you to the busy square of Place Assarag, right in the heart of the city. We visit the Berber Souk to discover the activities of local artisans and the old Sultan’s Salam Palace built in the 16th century. At the end of the Tour, we return to Agadir.
