During your private excursion, you will have the opportunity to visit various monuments in the city at your own pace. Start at the picturesque Almohades Koutoubia Minaret, The most unmissable religious building in Marrakech. For tourists, the Koutoubia is often like a compass that helps you find your way around the city then we head toward and the newly refurbished Dar El Bacha Palace taking in the labyrinth of narrow alleyways making up the renowned Souks of Marrakech. Our guided visit continues to the Djemâa el Fna Square full of stalls selling goods from fruit to babouche. Here we see snake charmers & water sellers, fortune tellers & public scribes, tumblers & nakkachat (ladies doing henna tatooing) – soothsayers & gnaoua musicians, see how the square transforms at dusk into a huge outdoor street food market. The square is a symbol of the city and a space for popular traditional entertainment and it is listed as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. (Lunch & Monument are not included).
